A vessel made of ASTM A204 grade C, molybdenum alloy steel and used as a hydrogen reformer was found to have cracked in the weld between the shell and the lower head. Six samples from different sections were investigated.

ASTM A204 Grade C is used in fabricators serving industry, especially in the oil, gas and chemical supply markets.

Supply size:Thickness: 6mm to 300mm
Width: 1000mm to 4500mm.
Length: 3000mm to 18000mm.
