The max thickness of A514 Grade J steel plate is 32mm. in the heat treatment, A514 Grade J shall be heat treatment by the mill to conform to the tensile and hardness requirements by heating to not less 900 degree and quenching in water or oil, tempering at not less 620 degree.
When delivery steel materials ASTM A514Gr.J,steel mill would issued the original mill test certificate,also short as MTC which report the values of main chemical composition, mechanical property, all test result when rolling of steel A514 Grade J.
