A537 Class 1 carbon steel is made up of heat treated normalized steel material. It has the 310MPa yield strength and 450MPa minimum yield strength. The thickness of the A537 Class 1 carbon steel plates range from 2mm to 150mm. The ASTM A537 steel sheets and plates are made in classes 1,2 and 3. The A537 CL1 carbon steel is used for boiler and high temperature applications. The plates are made by hot rolling methods. The thickness of the plates ranges from 0.6m to 3m.
