EN10028-3 standard specification for weldable fine grain steels, in normalized condition. It covers steel grade P275N, P275NH, P275NL1, P275NL2, P355N, P355NH, P355NL1, P355NL2, P460N, P460NH, P460NL1, P460NL2.
EN 10028-3 P355NL1 steel plate are mainly used for built and welded boilers and pressure vessels,so we call it as P355NL1 boiler steel plate and P355NL1 pressure vessel steel plate, P355NL1 boiler steel sheet and P355NL1 pressure vessel steel sheet.
For improving weld property when using, Katalor engineers suggest our end users,such as boiler and pressure vessel manufacturers choose the rolling technical PWHT which is simulated post welded heat treatment.Else, Ultrasonic test, Normalized and low temperature impacting test have to be done when rolling steel plate P355NL1.
