ASTM A131 AH36 steel

AH36 is not Chinese standard grade, but a international grade. In AH36 steel grade, A refers to high strength, A means the steel grade. There are four grades A,B,D,E. AH36 steel grade means high strength grade A hull steel with the yield strength is 355MPa.

Note: Generally speaking CE will be ≤ 0.40%. If the delivery condition is TMPC, the CE will be : ≤ 0.38% (thickness ≤ 50mm),≤0.40%(when the thickness >50-100). Ceq% =(C+Mn)/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15.
