S275N steel is a hot rolled structural steels, which technical delivery conditions for normalized or normalized rolled in weldable fine grain structural steel grade.
S275N structural steel plate is with specified minimum values of impact energy at temperatures not lower than -20 degree.
Normalized steel plate S275N is a kind weldable fine grain structural steel which shall be under normalized or normalized rolled delivery condition. Generally The steel grades in EN 10025-3, S275N, S275NL, S355N and S355NL shall be classified as non-alloy quality steels, and S420N, S420NL, S460N and S460NL shall be classified as alloy special steels according to EN 10020. For the name of S275N steel plate, S is for structural steel, 275 is the minimum yield strength value for S275N when rolling, L is for low temperature impacting test under minus 20 centigrade.
