EN10225 S355G8+M is a weldable structural steel for offshore structures. We hold a large stock of it together with stocks of other TMCP steels for offshore use, including S355G10+M.
Unlike many of the lower EN10225 steels S355G8+M is thermomechanically rolled and quite different to the EN10025 steels due to the addition of Nickel, Chromium and Molybdenum for the corrosion resistant properties.
Application:EN10225 Grade S355G8+M Offshore Platform Steel Plate is mainly used to Offshore Structural and Ocean Marine drilling platform.
Thickness:10mm to 150 mm, Width: 1500mm to 3500mm, Length: 3000mm to 12000mm
S355G8 steel additional condition: UT (Ultrasonic examination), N(Normalized), Q+T(Quenched and Tempered), Z Direction Test(Z15, Z25, Z35) , Charpy V-Notch Impact Test, NDT, PWHT, The Third Party Test (such as SGS Test), Coated or Shot Blasting and Painting.
