P460ML2-Pressure vessel steel under European standard EN 10028-6,is a thermo mechanically rolled and weldable fine grain steels, usual be used for pressure equipments, like building boilers and pressure vessels such as petroleum, chemical industry, power plants.

Pretreatment (Shot Blasting, Sand Blast and Painting ), Cutting Parts, Sample Service, Third Party inspection, UT Test and Size inspection.

 

P460ML2 Weldability:
Basic coated elc- trodes are recommended for manual wel- ding. In general, pre-heating prior to wel- ding or torch-cutting is not necessary. At outside temperature below +5 °C, pre- heating to approx. 50 °C should be car- ried out. Subsequent normalised or stress reli- ef annealing with the grades rolled under normalised conditions is required only if called for in the regulations or if operating and manufacturing conditions make a re- duction of the residual welding stresses appear useful. The thermo-mechanically rolled steels are not suitable for normali- zing; stress relief annealing is possible. With stress relief annealing at 530 – 580 °C, the holding time should be 2 minutes per milimetre of plate thickness, not fall short of 30 minutes and not significantly exceed 60 minutes. Excessively high annealing tempera- tres or excessively long annealing times bear the risk of reducing the strength va- lues to below the condition of delivery.
