There are three types of ASTM A36 steel heat treatment: vacuum heat treatment, chemical heat treatment and deformation heat treatment.
(1) Vacuum ASTMA36 heat treatment: This is a multi-parameter ASTMA36 steel heat treatment with additional pressure. It has the advantages of no oxidation, no decarburization, bright workpiece surface, small deformation, no pollution, energy saving, high degree of automation, and wide application range. It is one of the fastest-developing new technologies for ASTM A36 heat treatment in recent years, especially in the process of materials Great progress has been made in surface modification. Many newly developed advanced ASTM A36 heat treatment technologies, such as vacuum high-pressure gas quenching and vacuum chemical ASTM A36 steel sheet heat treatment, also need to be implemented under vacuum. The use of vacuum ASTMA36 heat treatment technology can greatly improve the quality and service life of structural materials, tools and molds, especially suitable for the ASTMA36 heat treatment of some precision parts. In industrially developed countries, the proportion of vacuum ASTMA36 heat treatment has reached about 20%, and China currently has about 1200 vacuum ASTMA36 heat treatment furnaces, accounting for about 1% of the total ASTMA36 heat treatment furnaces, a big gap with foreign countries. It is expected that in the future, with the technical progress of the ASTMA36 heat treatment industry and the higher quality requirements for the ASTMA36 steel heat treatment workpieces, vacuum ASTMA36 heat treatment will have greater development.

(2) Chemical ASTMA36 heat treatment: This is a multi-parameter ASTMA36 heat treatment with additional components. General chemical ASTMA36 heat treatment, such as carburizing, carbonitriding, carbonitriding boronizing, etc., belong to the multi-parameter ASTMA36 heat treatment of additional single component, double component and three component, respectively. In recent years, many new chemical ASTM A36 heat treatments using new technologies have been developed, such as vacuum chemical ASTM A36 heat treatment, fluidized bed chemical ASTM A36 heat treatment, ion infiltration metal, ion implantation, laser surface alloying, etc., which can improve the wear resistance of the workpiece And corrosion resistance and other performance. The application of rare earth in the heat treatment of chemical ASTM A36 (that is, co-infiltration with rare earth) can significantly increase the infiltration rate, shorten the treatment cycle, and improve the abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of the infiltration layer, which is a major feature of China. In addition, the heat treatment of solid solution chemistry ASTMA36 is also a noteworthy trend. Huang Jianhong and others from the Inner Mongolia Agricultural Machinery Research Institute developed the nitrogen-containing martensite treatment (N * M treatment) process, which is the first to obtain the content of solid solution N. The nitriding process for the purpose of nitrogen martensite has been successfully applied to the production of shear blades.

(3) Deformation ASTMA36 heat treatment: This is a multi-parameter ASTMA36 steel plate heat treatment with additional stress. The combination of pressure processing and ASTMA36 heat treatment combines deformation strengthening and phase transformation strengthening to achieve the dual purpose of forming and compound strengthening. Deformation ASTMA36 heat treatment can improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of the material, and can simplify the process, use waste heat, save energy and material consumption, and have significant economic benefits. Deformation ASTMA36 is widely used in heat treatment, from structural steel, bearing steel to high-speed steel. At present, the most widely used in industry is forging waste heat quenching and controlled rolling. The United States uses controlled rolling to produce high-hardness armored steel plates, which can improve the resistance to elasticity. China's weapon industry system has carried out experimental studies on artillery and shell parts hot die forging residual heat quenching, barrel rotation precision forging deformation ASTMA36 heat treatment, gun barrel steel core cross-rolling residual heat quenching, and achieved good results.
