What's the SM490YB steel yield strength?
Grade SM490YB under JIS G3106 standard is a hot rolled steel for welded structure in the form of plates, sheets & strips for architecture, engineering structures. With the minimum yield strength at 365 Mpa for the thickness equal or below 16mm, SM490YB steel owned the same steel strength as steel grade SM520B. We offer these hot rolled steel plates SM490YB completely according to steel standard JIS G3106. The thickness tolerance, heat treatment and steel marks on SM490YB hot rolled plates shall conform to this standard requested.
