SM400 is under the standard JIS G3106. SM400 includes three grades, SM400A, SM400B and SM400C.
The steel under the standard JIS G3106 is used for bridges, ships, vehicles, oil storage tank, vessel, and other structures with hot rolled steel ( Hereinafter referred to as the steel ), in particular, suitable for excellent weldability of hot rolled steel.
